Cobweb Mold takes on more of a grey hue, and the hyphae seen here seem to have no spores and look quite thick, and seem to resemble mycelium more than mold when zoomed in. It looks super fucked up because you messed with the grain layers and whatnot, but I think you should stop messing with it.

Here is one McKennaii plate and it looks like healthy tomentose mycelium forming. It grows only where the spores were dropped (I used way too much I know...) but the white growth looks more like polyfill and is quite bulky. Assuming it’s not that extremely moist, I think it’s mycelium. As a good rule of thumb, White & stringy (as in web like) = mycelium. Colored and fuzzy = moldy. It can be hard to tell when it’s this early, but it looks good imo. If it’s mycelium it should be more clear within a week though!
